Community guidelines
Chai for Two is for people looking for something real. These rules exist to keep it that way. Break them and you lose your account.
Be who you say you are
- Use your own photographs, recent ones, showing your face
- One account per person
- Do not pretend to be someone else, or someone you are not
- Complete verification. Everyone does it
Be decent
- No harassment, threats, or abuse
- No hate speech or slurs, including about caste, religion, nationality, colour, sexuality, gender or disability
- No pressure. If someone stops replying, that is their answer
- No sharing anyone's photographs, messages or details outside the app
Keep it clean
- No nudity or sexually explicit photographs
- No violence, weapons, or content promoting self-harm
- No photographs of children as your profile pictures
- You cannot send photographs in chat. This is deliberate
No business here
- No selling, promoting, recruiting, or fundraising
- No links to other platforms in your profile
- Never send money to anyone you meet here. Anyone asking is a scam. Report them
Meeting in person, and staying safe before that
We verify that members are real people. We cannot tell you whether someone is safe. We do not run background checks.
There is no substitute for acting with caution when communicating with any stranger who wants to meet you.
- Never put your last name, email address, home address, phone number, place of work, or any other identifying detail in your profile or your first messages
- Meet in public the first few times
- Always tell someone in your family or a friend where you are going and when you will be back
- Arrange your own transport, both ways
- Leave whenever you want, for any reason, without explaining
- Never send money to anyone you meet here
Reporting
Every profile and every chat has a report option. Reports are read by a person. You can also email [email protected].
If you are in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.
When someone breaks the rules
Depending on how serious it is: content removed, a warning, a suspension, or permanent removal. Serious cases go straight to permanent removal, and we may contact law enforcement.
You can block someone at any time, and it takes effect at once. They are not told.
